Vending Machines in Japan

In Japan there is one vending machine for every 23 people that live there. In Tokyo alone there are over 400 000 machines dispensing a variety of goods. The most popular machines of course supply drinks and snacks, but over my three weeks there, I found some very unique products for sale. Here are some of the types of vending machines that I discovered.

Beer

Cup of Noodles

Vacuum cleaner bags

Digital Cameras

Neck Ties

Insulation?

I’m not 100% what this one is but our best guess was insulation

(My Friend Paul who is living in Japan at the moment has since informed me that this is actually rice!)
