Bit by the Travel Bug

Traveling has always been one of my biggest ambitions, but it wasn’t until just this year that I finally ventured to another continent. I have been living vicariously through the travels of my friends and characters in the movies to experience the big wide world. Now at the age of 22, it is finally my turn to go on my own adventures.

In April I graduated from Ryerson University with a BA in Radio and Television. After my final exam, I packed my backpack and left North American soil for the first time in my life. I spent three weeks in South Africa with my boyfriend, followed by two crazy weeks in Europe with my three girlfriends from university. And that’s when it happened. The travel bug bit me.I came back to Canada just in time for convocation and to start my first “real people job.” But once the travel bug bites, you have to itch, and with my current contract quickly coming to an end, the timing couldn’t be better.

I am going to spend Christmas with my family before I embark on my biggest adventure yet! I have already bought a one way ticket to California, USA on Dec 30th 2011, where I will be spending a week before I cross the Pacific Ocean to the other side of the world.  I invite you to follow my blog and keep up to date with my travels!
